15 November 2008 Karachi: In order to provide understanding to stakeholders on policy, procedure and applying mechanism, Partnership Fund secretariat conducted three orientation workshops during the month of November 2008. In total, 335 participants from ten districts of Sindh attended the orientation workshops held in districts Khairpur Mirs, Nawabshah and Sanghar. They appreciated the initiatives of WWF-Ps’ Indus for All Partnership Fund for providing support to NGOs, CBOs, Academia and Government institutions for conservation of environment in the Indus ecoregion. In response to its Second call for proposals issued in November 2008, the Partnership secretariat has received 117 project proposals. The proposals are under review for the next round of grants.
