On 23rd December 2010, Biodiversity day was celebrated at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. The Department of Environmental Sciences and The Ministry of Environment's Pakistan Wetlands Programme - WWF was embellished stalls with the help of charts, posters, models and other different kind of awareness materials. The students of this university and PWP stall members were filled with great enthusiasm. The aim was to represent current condition of our environment and conserve Biodiversity.
The Pakistan Wetlands Programme played a mandatory role by setting a stall. The posters of PWP were displayed all around the department. Vice Chancellor of the university ”Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai” was the chief guest and he made a visit to the stall of PWP. He appreciated the participation of Pakistan Wetlands Programme - WWF.
Communications and Awareness-raising and Wetlands Biologist of the Pakistan Wetlands Programme WWF placed a stall and disseminate Posters, brochure, newsletters, flyer and bookmarks related to wetlands.
