The Ministry of Environment's Pakistan Wetlands Programme WWF observed the National Tree Planting Day on 24th February 2011. Chairman CDA Imtiaz Inayat Elahi will inaugurate the ceremony by planting a sapling at green belt between sector F-8 and G-8 in front of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
A large number of schoolchildren, government employees, different NGOs and environmentalists attended the ceremony of Tree Planting Campaign in the Federal Capital.
