The first breakthrough in Lahore with respect to Green School Programme took place with the MoU signing ceremony by American School of International Academics (ASIA) on the 1st November, 2010. The former education minister Mian Imran Masood and Director General WWF – Pakistan, Mr. Ali Hassan Habib were present at the occasion as chief guests. 
The mission of ASIA is to provide the highest quality education to its regular and special needs students based on innovation, latest research and technology, that can help them become dynamic and successful people in every field of life and be able to confidently accept the difficult challenges of the twenty-first century and beyond.

Beaconhouse School System: Garden Town Campus, Lahore

The MoU signing between WWF - Pakistan and Beaconhouse School System: Garden Town Campus, Lahore for the Green School Programme took place on the 15th of November, 2010.
Ms.Riffat Shahid, Principal Beaconhouse School Garden Town Campus and Mr. Anwar Nasim, Director Operations WWF - Pakistan signed the MoU on behalf of Beaconhouse School and WWF-Pakistan respectively.

Karachi, October 14 2010, WWF-Pakistan and Dawood Public School signed an agreement to promote awareness about environment and nature conservation amongst school children. in this regard an agreement signing ceremony was held at  Dawood Public School where Ali Hasan Habib Director General of WWF-Pakistan and CEO Dawood Public School Sabrina Dawood signed the Green School Agreement.

Jadeed Dastgir Ideal High School (JDIHS), Gujranwala was established in 1970 and now it has completed 35 years of academic excellence. It is ranked amongst the top institutes of Punjab. Initially it was established as a single school, but over a period of time, it has grown into an extensive system of five branches.

JDIHS has been WWF - Pakistan's registered Green School since February, 2012. MoU between both the organization was signed by Mr. Anwar Naseem, Senior Director Operations WWF - Pakistan and Mr. Ch. Muhammad Jameel, Chairman JDIHS.

October 23, 2012: WWF – Pakistan and Lahore Grammar School (LGS) Paragon Campus signed the Green School Programme MoU to propagate environmental education and awareness amongst the students of Paragon campus. The MoU was signed by Mr. Anwar Naseem, Senior Director Operations WWF – Pakistan and Mr. Salma Yasin, Principal LGS Paragon.

The Memorandum of Understand (MoU) was signed by Mr.Anwar Nasim, Director Operations WWF - Pakistan and Mr.Nauman Ahmad Qureshi, Principal The City School - Ravi Campus.
The City School has consistently maintained its high standards and is perceived throughout the country as an institution of excellence. The educational philosophy of The City School is well explained in the school motto "I am to learn".

Roots School System

Islamabad: November 4th, 2010 –Thursday: Roots School System and WWF Pakistan signed a MoU in order to be part of Green School Programme. The agreement was signed by Mr. Ali Hassan Habib, Director General, WWF-Pakistan and Mr. Faisal Mushtaq, Director Roots School System in a formal ceremony.  
The programme intends to achieve this goal by enabling students of the Roots School System to generate an insight into the eco dynamics and the overall challenges to the ecosystem and to inculcate and foster a sense of civic responsibility in students through hands on activities and community service in order to reduce their ecological footprint. The green School programme will also give students at roots school system an opportunity to become official ambassadors of WWF - Pakistan to further solicit support for WWF - Pakistan and the Environment at large.
